I'll be the first to comment on this as I asked the question. I tend to go away and hide in my 'woman cave'. I find it hard to be around people, but I guess that's because I'm introverted. Whilst there, I process what's bothering me - thrash it out. I pray, shout or cry. Sometimes, all three lol. Then I'll pick up my guitar and start writing a song where I am giving myself a pep talk to keep positive. This is why you will find that a lot of my songs have a positive twist to the dire circumstance - it's where I've been telling myself to get it together!
Hi Sabrina.
Your story is very Interesting and Emotional.
As someone that suffers from Depression, I'm starting to Recover now, I find it's very difficult to know how to React to different situations. It's so easy to become Introverted, I have done it, and feel as tho you just want to be alone and not have to face it. I have learnt tho that that really isn't me, so now I'm trying to tell myself that the only way to change something is to try and face it head on.
Your Story has awakened me as has your Music. I look forward to hearing more.
Thank you for Sharing.
Yes, I totally relate Michael. It's good that you're learning and growing from it. Depression is not easy. I can be susceptible to it too, but know how to snap out of it more quickly. I'm so glad that I'm able to help with my music. God bless you!
